1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms and a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, but it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.
The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working well. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming clogged. Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation as required. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station when required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
