Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum-mop is an excellent option for people who live in flats because it takes the trash away in its own bin and utilizes the docking station that is smaller. Its app allows you to set different modes and monitor the cleanliness and mopping. The mopping function is impressive.
Its obstacle avoidance and mapping are impressive, while it scrubs very well cleaning up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties and self-cleans and refills its water tank.
iRobot Roomba Combo
The iRobot Combo is a robot that can vacuum and mop. It's not quite able to compete with our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an app that is easier to use on mobile devices, but it does make for a strong alternative. It was able to consistently remove dirt from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most advanced in the world, and isn't equipped with structured light and other features like LiDAR, yet it was able to avoid most collisions with furniture and other clutter.
The Combo includes the majority of the same functions as the j7 Plus and comes with the latest onboard acoustic sensors that determine floor type and AI-powered navigation. However, it does not have the ability to adjust suction power manually. It's also slightly less compact than the vac-only version and doesn't include an auto-emptying dock.
The Combo is one of my favorites for homes with a lot of space. Its elegant design is also among the most attractive I've seen. The matte black finish is more sophisticated than the glossy or metallic finishes of most competitors. iRobot also adds some classier touches, such as the leather tab to open the bin on board, and a shelf to store bags that are not in the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to create maps of your home, as well as to set up Keep-Out Zones as well as No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.
Roborock
While Roborock is comparatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market but it's already earned its mark thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums feature industry-leading suction capabilities, while mopping systems from the company feature vibrating mops that scrub floors to remove dirt. Furthermore, a range of scheduling and mapping options lets you adjust the bot's cleaning schedule for your particular home.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature allows the robot to spot objects that are lower than its own height. This is particularly beneficial for Roborock's most popular models, such as the Qrevo Master. It is the top of its kind when it comes to navigation, thanks to vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been reported to run over pet faeces and slam furniture without noticing. The Qrevo Master however, addresses this issue with an AI system called Reactive that uses two cameras to see the presence of objects in a room.
Roborock robots come with a range of convenience features to cut down on maintenance. These include docks that can be auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with many functions. They make it easier to manually empty dustbins and wash mops, which makes for a truly hands-off ownership experience. The app is easy to use thanks to its straightforward design and lag-free connection with the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
Hobot Legee, with its wide variety of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping features, is one of the best robot vacuums/mops available for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system combines 5 technologies to plan and create a route that is the most efficient. It can also identify different flooring materials and recognise obstacles with precision. It can raise itself up to 7mm to glide across carpets. Smart spray system is able to use just the right amount of water for stain removal without leaving water marks.
The Legee, a Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both robots cost more. It has more features that include a swivel D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets better than the round version. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass), 4 forward-facing and one right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and 2 pairs of cliff detectors both front and rear (most robots only have one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM, which helps to eliminate the bump-and-grind issues that plague Gen 4 robots.
The Legee is different from other robots due to the fact that it has a trash compactor built-in and utilizes the more quiet 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The included LuLu mop cleaning station cleans, refills and dries the mop's cloth. You can use the mop up to six-times longer than you would with other mops. It also reduces the amount of waste and frequency with which bins are empty.
Karcher RCV 5
Popular for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for quite a while and this is the brand's most technologically advanced model. It can create maps of your home using LiDAR, and can be programmed either to mop or vacuum. It can also distinguish between carpets and hard floors and prevent the dreaded puddles on your carpet.

Its navigation is excellent, avoiding carpets or furniture with ease. It can also lift itself over steps. The machine is customizable with a variety of settings, including cleaning schedules as well as the rooms it is expected to clean. It also has an emergency button that will oblige the robot to return to the base if it runs out of power and can be set to automatically turn itself off if it is a threat of storm.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, while heavy at almost 4kg, it's hardly difficult to maneuver around furniture. Children with small hands will appreciate the safety features such as sensors that warn you to stay clear of the stairs. Once charged, the device takes only about a couple of hours to recharge and the two buttons on the top will flash in green to let you that it is ready for use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that balances modern cleaning technology with affordability. It's a direct competitor to models like the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. The Mova E30 Ultra is a less expensive model, but it has features not found in other models. It makes use of sensors to adjust its settings for different surfaces and floors, as well as to identify dirtier areas and ensure that they get enough attention. It also moves at a slow speeds to avoid damage to delicate furniture and walls.
You can also see the map of your home within the app. You can also mark specific rooms and objects that you want to keep out of the way. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstruction and avoid hitting it. It is also equipped with an intelligent dustbin that will notify you when it's empty, so you can empty it in time.
The Mova E30 Ultra is an affordable choice for those looking to outsource their everyday cleaning chores. It's a robotic mop and vacuum cleaner that can clean your floors without you having to lift a single finger. It features a clever design that improves the cleaning of corners by as much as 60%. It comes with up to 7000 Pa of suction power and RoboSwing arms, and it can be controlled using the app or voice assistants, such as Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 is a stylish, feature-packed robot vacuum and mop. It does an outstanding job of keeping floors neat and tidy. It can't lift its mops to clean carpets and rugs as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, however, it is extremely effective at cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a high degree of suction, an array of mopping options, and a top-quality application that runs on iOS and Android.
It's smaller than its competitors, and its main brush is a bit shorter however, it did a quick job in our test room. The edge brush that revolves on the side is a nice addition. Although sneak a peek at these guys didn't get rid of dirt as well as some of the competitors, it did a good job.
Cleaning parameters can be set for each room, and the robot will create detailed maps of rooms using built-in LiDAR navigation. It's easy to control via the app and a range of voice output options can inform you about the condition of your home robot. Regular software updates help improve and extend the performance. The app is able to remotely manage the RCV3 even when you are away from home.
